Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; & sin is lawlessness. You know that He appeared in order to take away sins...for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil (1 Jn. 4,8)

The kingdom of Christ does not advance by law.
The kingdom of Christ advances by the gospel.

Strachan appears to have lost his bible & flirts with Marcionism. The New Covenant (which Christ's sacrifice ratifies) in Jer. 31 & Heb. 8 means the Law of God is written on our hearts. The Great Commission to preach the gospel to every creature requires teaching God's commands.

You know you are in grave danger of law overtaking gospel when you are told that the gospel “contains law.” That’s frankly bizarre.
The gospel contains not a single drop of law. This is no trifling statement; this is the difference between the true gospel and a corrupted one.

We are in gospel crisis today.
The gospel IS NOT kingdom activity that spreads across the earth via the nations being taught the law.
The gospel IS the message of Christ crucified for our atonement and resurrected for our renewal; we receive this gospel in faith and repentance.

Your truncation of the meaning of the evangel to glorified fire insurance is what is contributing to the preaching of the gospel being in crisis in an apostate generation. Read 1 Tim 1: 8-11 & discover what is according to the gospel Paul preached.
