Is there any other group that impugns the character of God and paints Him as unjust as badly as Calvinism does?
It's still amazing when you point out things that scripture says and people call you a heretic. The lack of self-awareness on people's part who think they believe the Bible is astonishing.

All Romans 8 and 1 Corinthians 2 shows us is that to those who want to keep setting their minds on the flesh, the Gospel is foolishness to them. They need to change their mind. There's nothing implying they cannot do that.
Stop using these texts to prove "total inability."
The cross being foolishness to those who are perishing does not equate to it being something that the natural man cannot receive. What the natural man cannot receive in 1 Corinthians according to Paul is the DEEP things of God, that only the spiritually MATURE can receive.
The fact that the best prooftext for the doctrine of original sin is a hyperbolic text that relies on the use a bad translation and has to be taken literally just shows how badly people misunderstand proper hermeneutics and think that blatant eisegesis is exegesis.
God help us.

This is typical of so many online Calvinists. They are weak minded individuals who can’t deal with what others actually believe so they have to make stuff up. The problem is that it’s sinful and yet they continue to do it. We aren’t dealing with good people. 👍

Imagine God in heaven looking down on His creation using the free will He gave them to deny they have it and using it also to impugn His character to unbelievers thinking they are actually evangelizing.
Judgments coming.

Why in the world is the argument always made that since faith is a gift from God it must be given effectually to make one believe and only to the elect? How does this even follow?
In what world does a gift have to be given effectually to cause a result for it to be a gift?

The joke is not impugning the goodness or wisdom of God, it's impugning the unbiblical doctrine of Calvinism which says that God has unchangeably decreed all things.
We are not questioning God or mocking Him, we are questioning and mocking the Calvinistic caricature of God.

No one believes our wills are unlimited. Clearly there are limitations. But the Bible NOWHERE informs us that our wills are in bondage to where we are unable to respond positively to God.

Aren't you special, God chose YOU and saved YOU while condemning others who were just as sinful as you for things they had no control over. To God be the glory! Nate

Those "goats" fall into the category of THE WORLD, the same world that God loves and sent His Son to die for. Any systematic theology that denies God's love and provision made for the world is an unbiblical theology.

Bad theology has consequences. Imagine thinking that a baby, who has no other way of communicating, that cries when hungry or needing something is "angry" and sinning? Get out of here with your unbiblical and stupid theology, and don't have kids until you change.

The real question, and the avoidance of Matt and so many Calvinists, should be "where does scripture EVER inform us that the reason Christ had to be born of a virgin was to avoid a sin nature?"
The answer, NOWHERE.

Imagine saying that God desires all to be saved and gave Christ to all men so that all may believe and be saved and other so-called “Christians” mock you and laugh at you for saying it?
Some “Christians” are a blight on Christianity.

Never take spiritual advice from someone who claims they were created unable to understand spiritual truths.
