Greetings, I remember skimming these commentaries years ago in a library. Hendriksen & Kistemaker New Testament Commentary The set was on sale fro $890.00 to $150.00 on Logos 10. From a lot of research I was surprised to find out that this commentary set was highly reccomended and very reformed. Many people on other forums frown upon commentaries and let me know to follow the Bible only. Perhaps I am wrong, but I just do not believe that. Gods word is the final authority for me. If anyone has other suggestions for reformed commentaries I am all ears and will put it on my future list. I have about 30 or so commentaries currently. While I truly like a physical book, I have to say how convenient the digital editions are and also like the fact that I can sync between devices. Last thing, I do not currently have a firm stance on Eschatology. If anything I am Premil. For whatever reason i never got into "the last things" and prophecy. Moist likely is it really bothered me when I was involved with pentecostals/charismatics for a few years (first few years of my conversion), thats all they would talk about. Anyhow, went on a tangent. Grace and peace to you.

Hendricksen and Kistemaker are both excellent. I have the complete et with the exception of Acts One just needs to remember that both those gentlemen were Presbyterians and paedobaptists. If you are, like me, of a Reformed Baptist persuasion, you need to be on your guard, especially in Galatians, Hebrews, and maybe Romans. But even in these books, H and K have many good points to make.
